It’s Hestan’s patented two-layer stainless-steel base bonded to an aluminum body. It prevents warping, keeps the pan perfectly flat, and ensures oil stays centered for better browning and flavor. No other nonstick cookware has this technology.

"We have two of the Nano pans and absolutely love them. Our only non-stick needed replacement so I purchased this pan based on my positive experience with Hestan products.
